It is reported that the upcoming OnePlus Open 2 will be larger yet thinner, with a slim profile of just 10mm compared to the first generation folding phone of the company. The upcoming device could be the slimmest foldable phone as well.
The upcoming device is also expected to feature IPX8 water resistance, and the device is believed to come with an 8-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED inner screen with a 120Hz refresh rate along with a 6.4-inch AMOLED outer display. The device will come with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
It will be running on the Android 15 operating system out of the box and the device will come with various AI features on the board. The device is also reported to come with three 50MP sensors (main, ultrawide, and telephoto with 3x optical zoom), the device will be coming with the front cameras including 32MP and 20MP sensors. The device is also expected to come with a larger 5,900mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
