Back in July, the popular flagship smartphone maker OnePlus announced that it is integrating OxygenOS with ColorOS which is the custom skin of Oppo. Having said that, the latest OnePlus Nord 2 what’s the fastest smartphone to come with the new integrated operating system. Now the smartphone brand has announced yet another decision regarding its operating system and the same will be designed in collaboration with Oppo. 

OnePlus has announced that the company is working on a new version of the operating system and that will be introduced next year. The upcoming operating system will be a new unified OS in partnership with Oppo. 

It is also confirmed that the upcoming unified operating system will run on both OnePlus and Oppo phones globally and it is also revealed that the upcoming operating system will ship on the next generation flagship smartphone series of OnePlus and the same will be called OnePlus 10. 

The company has revealed some highlights of the upcoming OS and it is claimed that the operating system will be “fast and smooth, reliable, smart and feature-rich, and clean and lightweight.” 

That’s not all, it is also confirmed that the existing OnePlus phones will receive the upcoming unified operating system in 2022. 

Speaking about the name of the upcoming operating system, OnePlus is dubbing the same as OnePlus 2.0, and it is also confirmed that the company will now focus on the camera department.
