Just a couple of days ago, OnePlus rolled out the latest version of Android i.e. Android 10 for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Well, now the company is all set to bring the latest version of Android to the kings of last year i.e. the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T, as the company has rolled out a new software update for both the devices, but the update will not bring the latest version of operating system directly.
The company has rolled out a new update for both the OnePlus 6 series and the company says that it will prepare both the devices for the major update and the roll-out of OxygenOS 9.0.9 and 9.0.17 for the OnePlus 6 and 6T, respectively.
Having said that, the company rolled out beta builds for the devices earlier this month and that was also said to prepare the devices for the next major update.
Coming back to the latest update, it also brings improvements in the system performance of the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T and fix an issue with the Screen Recorder. The latest update also activates the calling function after the network has been reset. The update will roll out via OTA and right now it is rolling out to a small percentage of users and the company will roll out the latest version of the Oxygen OS to the wide audience in the next few days.
