The company started to offer the new update on May 28, 2025, and will reach all the supported devices by June 28, 2025. The update brings improvements in system stability along with new features to Notes, File Manager, Phone Manager, and Private Safe.
Everything about OnePlus OxygenOS V80P00
In the Notes app, users on OxygenOS 14 and above will be able to use rich text formatting in tables like bold and italic text. The new update will also enable you to drag audio or video files to change their position. You can also share audio or video files directly to the Notes app or insert media from Camera, Photos, or My Files.
On OxygenOS 15 and above, the File Manager will offer a “My Files” widget and the same will enable you to pin and access tagged files directly from your home screen.
The Phone Manager also gets a new tool called “Recommended to uninstall.” It suggests removing apps and those applications that you haven’t used for a long time. While the Private Safe, which supports devices running OxygenOS 14 and above, now allows file search. You can encrypt single files up to 20 GB in size and the update also improves how decrypted images and videos are displayed, again on select models.
