OnePlus Teased ‘Super Slo Mo’ Feature For OnePlus 6

Almost every tech savvy person knows that it’s the OnePlus mania going on in terms of leaks and teasers. There are many predictions going on about the features of OnePlus 6, like having Glass Back, Dash Charge 2.0, etc. This time the teasers are also playing a vital role in giving us hints on the upcoming device. But as of now, we didn’t hear much about the camera department. Now today the company gave us one important hint, or maybe direct hint towards a camera feature. So let’s have a look at the same.

A new teaser image has been popped up on OnePlus India’s official website which reveals that OnePlus 6 will have ‘Super Slo-Mo’ support. The image has a background design as you can see above, and the heading says, “Live Life in Super Slo-Mo”. There’s a subtitle which says, ‘Slow down time and experience the Super Slo-Mo feature of the OnePlus 6’. For those who don’t know, the term ‘Slo Mo’ refers to Slow Motion Video Recording. From past many OnePlus devices, we are getting the slow-motion recording option but that’s restricted to 120fps (frames per second) at 720p. Now with this Super Slo-Mo, we are expecting that OnePlus 6 will have up to 960fps or minimum 480fps support, both at 1080p.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. It would be interesting to see the number of fps the company will provide. Also if there will be 960fps support, will it be the same as Galaxy S9/S9 Plus i.e. slow motion effect for few seconds or it will be applied to full-length videos? What are your thoughts on the same?
