After the launch of the fifth generation folding devices of Samsung, the popular Chinese smartphone brands like Oppo and OnePlus are teasing their upcoming folding devices. Oppo has shared a video without revealing anything about the device and the same is expected that the company is trying to tease its upcoming Oppo Find N3 folding smartphone.
Now OnePlus has added fuel to the fire of the excitement by sharing a tweet and it is believed that the company is teasing its upcoming folding device which is the first ever of the company in the segment as well. The tweet seems to be confirming the name of the device.
The tweet which is shared by OnePlus reads ‘We OPEN where other FOLD’. This might be suggesting the name of the device and the same may indeed be called OnePlus Open, which is matching with the recent rumour. The company did not read any other information about the upcoming device.

Based on the previous reports, the company might be launching the device on August 29. The upcoming device is expected to feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate while the inner display will feature a large 7.8-inch AMOLED screen along with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The upcoming OnePlus V Fold will feature a triple rear camera setup including a 48MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, the main display of the device will feature a 32MP camera whereas the interior screen will feature a 20MP camera sensor.
Under the hood, the OnePlus V Fold will reportedly be powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor along with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is also expected to house a 4,800mAh battery along with 67W fast charging and the device will be running on Android 13 with OxygenOS 13.1 out of the box.
