The reliable tipster Evan Blass shared the leaked internal memo of the brand and the same was meant for the OnePlus PR team. Well, it reveals that the merging between the two brands will make OnePlus a brand within Oppo, or in other words it will be the sub-brand of Oppo.

But OnePlus will continue working as an independent brand and the newly surfaced memo further says that the CEO, Pete Lau, will become the chief product officer at Oppo as well, he will also be responsible for the product strategies for both Chinese smartphone brands.
