It seems OnePlus is gearing up to bring a new feature that will forcefully enable the dark mode to a list of applications and the feature will also work with the system-wide dark mode feature. The new option appears to have in the latest open beta 11 which is available for the OnePlus 7 and the 7 Pro smartphones but the feature is not provided to the beta testers.
The guys at the XDA developers successfully spotted a code for the option in the settings panel of the latest Oxygen OS beta version and the same is dubbed as the “Enable dark tone in more apps” and the feature is also made in the way to work with the native dark mode feature.
Unfortunately, we don’t have much information about the feature and also the list of applications that will be utilized the same. It is worth to mention that the dark mode feature came with the new Android 10 operating system and all the many popular application has adopted the same. Having said that, the dark mode provides more comfort to the eyes.
It seems that the feature can be enabled by the server-side and the company will make it live after taking care of all the measures.
