OnePlus TV Could Launch Next Month, Will Have Display Sizes Up To 75 Inch

The smart TV market is being involved in the past few years because of the entry of companies like Xiaomi, Vu, and others. From the last 1 year, we are waiting for OnePlus to launch their own smart TV. Last year OnePlus’s CEO Pete Lau said that they will bring a smart TV in 2019. But they didn’t mention any time period. Last month OnePlus TV was spotted on Bluetooth Certification. Now today we have some more news regarding specifications as well as announcement date.

Talking about specifications, OnePlus TVs were spotted on Bluetooth SIG listings again and this time we know the screen sizes as well. The OnePlus TVs will come in different screen sizes of 43 inch, 55 inch, 65 inch, and 75 inch. Their model numbers suggests that 43 inch might be exclusive to India, and 75 inch might be for USA and China. Except for 43 inch, rest others will most probably have 4K resolution with HDR support. 43 inch variant might get Full HD resolution. These TVs will have Bluetooth 5.0, but the listing of TV remote last month reveal that the remote will have Bluetooth 4.2, so let’s see.

Now talking about the announcement of OnePlus TVs. A reliable source says that OnePlus might unveil their TVs in the end of September 2019. The launch will happen between 25th-30th, but September 26th is the most preferred date according to the source. This source also reveals that OnePlus will use OLED panels made by TVP Display Technologies Pvt. LTD. From China. So I guess maybe the 65 inch and 75 inch variants will get OLED panels.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. What are your expectations from these TVs? Both in terms of experience and value? Let us know in the comment section below. Also stay tuned with us for more information.
