The very popular Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has introduced its latest affordable smartphone in the market of India called Oppo A55 and the device is actually a 4G variant of the Oppo A55 5G which was introduced earlier this year. The latest Oppo smartphone is coming with a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup and the company offering the device with the latest version of the Android Operating System out of the box. The smartphone is also coming with an exciting price tag and the same is available on Amazon India.
Specifications of Oppo A55
The smartphone features a 6.51-inch HD+ display with 1600 X 720 pixels resolution along with a punch-hole set up on the top left corner of the screen. It is also coming with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 269ppi of pixel density, and an 89.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, along with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
It is also coming with a triple rear camera setup that comprises a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel portrait sensor for bokeh effect, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The device is also coming with a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front.
Regarding the connectivity options, the Oppo A55 supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also supports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Oppo A55 packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W Fast Charge and the same runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top.
Pricing and availability
The pricing of the smartphone starts at ₹15,490 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at ₹17,490. 4GB + 64GB model will go on sale during the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale from October 3, while the 4GB + 128GB option will be available starting October 11.
