Although the Snapdragon 480 power announced in November last year is from the OPPO A55, it offers the same features and design as the OPPO A55 5G announced in January 2021.

OPPO A55s 5G handset comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a teardrop notch. The screen offers HD + resolution of 720 x 160 pixels, 60Hz upgrade rate, 60Hz touch sampling rate and 480 nits brightness. The power button of the OPPO A55s 5G is integrated with the fingerprint scanner.
The Dimensity 700 chipset with 6 GB / 8 GB RAM is also available under the OPPO A55s 5G. The device offers 128GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot. The handset boots into older Android 11 OS and ColorOS 11.1. When it packs a 5,000mAh battery, it only supports 10W charging.
The OPPO A55s 5G has an 8-megapixel camera for taking selfies. The device’s rear camera setup has a 13-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
pricing and availability
The OPPO A55s with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at 1,099 yuan ( $ 172) in the Chinese market. 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage version of the OPPO A55s is priced at 1,199 yuan ( $ 188). Available in Brisk Blue, Rhythm Black and Temperament Gold, the device is now available in the home market.
