The popular Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has recently introduced its new budget 5G enabled smartphone called Oppo A78 5G and now the company has confirmed to launch the device in India as soon as next week.
It is officially revealed that the Oppo A78 5G will be official in the country on January 16. There is no information on the pricing of the smartphone but we believe that Oppo will be launching the device with an aggressive price tag.
Specifications of Oppo A78 5G
The newly announced Oppo A78 5G features a 6.56-inch LCD display along with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is featuring a waterdrop notch on the top of the screen. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 mobile processor along with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be expandable using a Micro SD card.
Speaking about the camera department, the device is featuring a dual rear camera setup and that is in the combination of a 50MP primary sensor along with a 2MP depth shooter. It is also featuring an 8MP front facing camera. The device is housing a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging solution.
The device is also supporting a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security. Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB-C. The smartphone is IP54 dust and water-resistant and it is running on Android 13 with ColorOS 13 on top.
