Oppo has officially confirmed to launch its new Oppo A78 5G smartphone in India on January 16 and this particular device was officially announced in Malaysia recently. Before the India launch of the device, the unboxing video of the smartphone surfaced online and it is revealing the designing set up of the Indian variant along with the specification details as well as the Indian pricing information. According to the unboxing video, the Oppo smartphone will be official in the country with a price tag of ₹19,000 for the 8GB RAM +128GB storage variant in India.
It is also revealing that the retail box of the smartphone will include a transparent case, charger, USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter, documentation, a SIM-ejector tool, and the smartphone.
The unboxing video confirms that the upcoming Oppo A78 5G will be running on Android 13 with ColorOS 13 on top. The device will be featuring a 6.56-inch HD+ display along with a waterdrop notch on the top of the screen and a 90Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 mobile processor at its heart.
It is also revealed that the Oppo A78 5G will offer a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel sensor on the back and it will be featuring an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone will offer a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It will be housing a 5,000mAh battery along with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
