Since last week, we are hearing about two Oppo smartphones – Oppo A91 and Oppo A8, now the company has launched the device officially and it is coming with a pocket-friendly price tag. Oppo A91
Let’s start with Oppo A91, the device is coming with a 6.4 inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and it also features a waterdrop like a notch on the top of the display. The device is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 processor and paired with 8GB of RAM along with 128 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via MicroSD card.
Moving to the camera department, the Oppo A91 feature Quad Camera set up in the combination of a 48 megapixel primary sensor followed by 8 megapixel ultra wide along with 8 megapixel sensor and 8 megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone also supports a 16 megapixel front facing camera. For security, the device comes with fingerprint scanner and Face Unlock along with the traditional security features.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, GPS among others. The Oppo A91 comes with 4,000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging technology and it runs on Android 9 along with custom skin ColorOS 6.1.
Oppo A8
Coming to the Oppo A8, it offers a 6.5 inch HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and sports a waterdrop like notch. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 processor and paired with 4GB of RAM along with 128 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via microSD card.
In terms of camera, the device features a triple rear camera setup is a combination of a 12 megapixel primary sensor along with 2 megapixel and 2 megapixel sensor. The smartphone also features an 8 megapixel front facing camera. It also supports a fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security options.
Talking about the connectivity, the smartphone supports all the standard connectivity options. Speaking about the battery capacity, the smartphone supports a 4,230 mAh battery with no fast charging and it runs on Android 9 with ColorOS 6.1.
Pricing and availability
The Oppo A91 is priced at CNY 1,999 and it will available from December 26 while the Oppo A8 will cost CNY 1,199 and the device will be available from December 26.
