Oppo and Vivo – the two major smartphone players and the sub-brand of the BBK Electronics have announced a new connectivity option for its flagship devices. Both the companies have announced the dual Wi-Fi connectivity. So, without wasting any time let’s dig into the article to check out everything about the new dual Wi-Fi connectivity option.
The latest feature will allow users to connect to two Wi-Fi networks at the same time, and this setup will offer better connectivity if one of them fails. Oppo shared a video on the ColorOS account on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo, and the video shows the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom connecting to one 2.4 GHz and a secondary 5 GHz network, and we can see a big jump in the download speed up to 322%, and the page loading speed increases by 44.5%.
Having said that, Vivo has also shared a video and that shows the new setup on two iQOO phones, the Dual Wi-Fi service selected the fastest network and automatically uses it for faster app download and lower latency while in a game. There is also the faster webpage loading, but once again – one of the networks is 2.4 GHz, the other is 5 GHz.
