After few leaks and teaser, the BBK Electronics owned OPPO has launched its new device called OPPO F7. The company has launched device at an event in Mumbai and fulfilled its promise as it said that the device will be launched on March 26 i.e. today.
The device sports iPhone X like notch on top of the display. The OPPO F7 comes with a 6.23 inch Full HD+ and Full Screen display with resolution of 2280 x 1080 and the latest 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Helio P23 octa-core processor and the device is paired with 4, and also 6 GB RAM variant available. In terms of storage, the 4 GB RAM variant has 64 GB, and the 6 GB RAM has 128 GB internal storage. The device also has a dedicated slot for microSD card, which will allow to expand the storage upto 256 GB.
Speaking about the camera department, the device is promoted as ‘Selfie Expert’, as the device has a 25 megapixel front facing camera with a “real-time HDR” sensor which captures images with more information. The company also says that this HDR sensor also takes pictures that have “higher range of details, luminance and color levels”. Moreover, the front camera also features AI Beauty 2.0 and AR stickers. In terms of rear camera, the device has 16 megapixel snapper with LED flash.
Coming to the connectivity, the device has Dual SIM with 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm headphone jack and GPS. It also features fingerprint scanner and Face Unlock to give the ultimate security features to the users. It runs on Android Oreo v8.1 which is based on ColorOS 5.0, and the device is backed on 3,400 mAh battery. Speaking about the colours, Moonlight Silver and Solar Red with 4 GB RAM variant, Sunrise Red and Diamond Black with 6 GB RAM variant.
Pricing and availability of the device:
- The 4 GB RAM variant of the device is priced ₹21,990.
- Price of the 6 GB RAM variant is ₹26,990.
- The 4 GB RAM variant of the device will be available through Oppo stores in the country, but it will be available only 10,000 units of the device. However, the first flash sale of the device will be taken place on April 2 and the general sale will start from April 9 via Flipkart and offline stores.
