The company has introduced the device as the world’s slimmest folding phone. The device also comes with the latest and greatest Snapdragon processor along with improved durability and software integration. The newly announced Oppo Find N5 features a 6.62-inch outer AMOLED screen with 1140×2616 pixels resolution and 1-120Hz LTPO refresh rate, along with up to 2,450 nits peak brightness. While the inner display features 8.12 inches of display with 2248×2480 pixels resolution along with 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rates and 2,100 nits peak brightness. Both screens utilize 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming along with improved brightness control. The device also comes with Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) and Nano-Crystal Glass. The device also supports the Oppo Pen stylus, and you need to purchase the same separately.
Having said that, the build of the Oppo Find N5 is highlighting and the same is very slim. When unfolded, the device features 4.21mm thin, making it one of the slimmest foldables. When the device is folded, it measures 8.93mm.
Under the hood, the latest Oppo Find N5 has the power of the 7 Core Snapdragon 8 Elite along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15, and it also comes with AI features including search, and AI call summaries. The device also comes with improved cross-device functionality with O+ Connect that will enable you to easily share files and the remote access between the Find N5 and Mac devices.
The latest Oppo Find N5 comes with a 50MP Ultra Vision main sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens supporting 6x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 116° field of view. The company has collaborated with Hasselblad to fine-tune the imaging capabilities. The device comes with an 8MP selfie camera on both screens with the capability of up to 4K video recording.
It houses a massive 5600mAh Glacier battery along with 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W wireless as well as 10W reverse wireless charging. The device also features the new Titanium Flexion Hinge, utilizing aerospace-grade titanium alloy as well. The device also features TÜV Rheinland dual foldable durability certifications as well. It also comes with IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings, along with features including stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and USB Type-C. The device also comes with an alert slider button as well.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Oppo Find N5 is available with 12GB+256GB variant with a price tag of 8,999 yuan while the 16GB+512GB option comes with a price tag of 9,999 yuan. The satellite edition of the device which comes with 16GB+1TB storage option has a price tag of 10,999 yuan. The device will be available in China from February 26 and we don’t have any information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world at the moment of time.
