Oppo has confirmed that the upcoming devices will come with Tianma’s new Tiangong Screen 2.0, a high-end OLED panel that puts more emphasis on eye comfort and low-brightness performance. The company has also introduced to the second generation and it is Tiangong Screen 2.0 that uses a new primary-color light-emitting material, which Tianma calls N1 primary-color spectrum material.
It is also said that the company has changed the blue, green, and red parts of the OLED spectrum. For blue, it uses NFB fluorescent blue technology, which is designed to improve efficiency while reducing harmful blue light. While green, the panel uses PSF phosphorescence technology. The red component uses DRT deep red light technology. The display also features native 95% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut and a Delta E of below 0.6.
The new Tiangong Screen 2.0 uses Tianma’s AI De-Mura algorithm and it is said that the display improves low-brightness uniformity by 30% and allows the screen to reach as low as 0.01 nits. The company has also worked on the panel’s TFT backplane to improve uniformity.
