Oppo Find X3 and X3 Pro Launched with 50MP Cameras, 65W Fast Charging and more

Oppo has updated the Find X series with new smartphones – Find X3, and Find X3 Pro. These smartphones also come with identical specifications in most departments except for the storage and chipset, the company has launched the devices with superfast charging technology and industry-leading display. The smartphone features a 10-bit curved 6.7-inch E4 OLED QHD+ display with support of up to 1 billion colours and adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 240Hz touch sampling rate and covers both sRGB/P3 and 100% DCI-P3 colour. It also supports a punch hole set up at the top left corner of the screen and the same also supports HDR10+ and has a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1.

it is also protected with Gorilla Glass 6. It scored an A+ rating from DIsplayMate and has broken up to 13 records. It comes with a maximum brightness of up to 800 nits. It sports JNCD~0.4 and has 3,126 x 1,440 resolution. Moving to the photography department, the latest Oppo Find X3 Pro rocks a quad rear camera setup and that consists of two Sony IMX766 sensors with 50MP resolution. It has a 1/1.56-inch sensor and supports 1 billion colour capture, Sony’s DOL-HDR, All-Pixel Omni-Directional PDAF. The first one is paired with an f/1.8 wide-angle sensor and it also supports OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) while the other has an f/2.2 ultra-wide aperture with 110-degree FOV.

The third one is a 3MP microsensor with f/3.0 aperture and it supports 60x digital zoom and Full HD video recording. Finally, we have a 13MP telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture that supports a 5x Hybrid and 20x digital zoom. It supports features like AI-scene enhancement and Palette, 10-bit RAW+ image Support, Cinematic Mode 4K 10-bit video in Log and HDR format with BT.2020 color gamut, 10-bit color depth, and HLG gamma curve support. For security, the smartphone supports an in-display fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security.

Regarding the connectivity, the Oppo Find X3 Pro supports Wi-Fi 6, 2×2 MIMO and 8 spatial sounding MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C port, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, QZSS, BeiDou for navigation. It packs a 4,500 mAh battery with a 65W SuperVOOC charge, 30W AirVOOC Flash Charge and 10W reverse wireless charging. It runs ColorOS 11.2 based on Android 11 and offers features like Dolby Atmos audio support, OPPO Relax 2.0, Beauty of Science co-developed Wallpapers, Assistant & Game Focus modes.

Pricing and Availability

The Oppo Find X3 is priced at CNY 4,499 ($694) for the 8GB + 256GB variant and CNY 4,999 for the 12GB + 256GB version. It will be available in Condensed White, Mist Blue, Mirror Black and cosmic Mocha colours.

On the other hand, the Oppo Find X3 Pro pricing starts at CNY 5,499 ($848) for the 8GB + 256GB variant, the 12GB + 256GB version is priced at CNY 5,999 ($925) and the maxed out 16GB + 512GB variant will be sold for CNY 6,999 ($1,079). Along with this, the company has also announced the pricing of a global variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage at €1,149. It will come in Condensed White, Mist Blue, Mirror Black, and Cosmic Mocha colours to China whereas only Gloss Black and Gloss Blue colours be available globally. The units will be sold from March 19th in china and only the Find X3 Pro model will be sold internally from March 30th.
