The popular Chinese smartphone brand Oppo will be launching its new flagship smartphone series dubbed the Oppo Find X8 series and the smartphone series will be announced in October this year while the Ultra variant of the series is expected to be announced next year. The top most executive of Oppo has confirmed that the upcoming OPPO Find Series will be adopting silicon-carbon anode batteries, and the company is calling the technology as glacier batteries.
If you not aware about the technology then the same provides higher energy density (an industry-leading 763Wh/L). It will be offering the manufacturer to feature a larger capacity within a compact space. Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Oppo Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and the Find X8 Ultra will pack 5600 mAh, 5,700mAh, and 6,100 or 6,200mAh battery, respectively.
It is worth mentioning that this particular battery tech was first adopted by the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro which was introduced back in June this year, where the energy density of the battery is reportedly 23.1% higher as compared to traditional graphite batteries.
