Oppo will be launching its next-generation flagship smartphone series dubbed the Oppo Find X9 series and the vanilla variant, as well as the Pro variant, will be official in the month of October this year. Having said that, the Ultra variant of the smartphone series is expected to be announced in the first quarter of next year. It is tipped that the Oppo Find X9 will feature a 6.59-inch flat OLED LTPO screen with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display of this device will be integrated with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
Oppo is expected to launch the device with the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 mobile processor and it is worth mentioning that the same chip will power the Oppo X9 Pro.
The upcoming phone is also reported to come with a large 7,025mAh battery along with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device is also reported to run on the latest Android 16 with Oppo’s new ColorOS 16 out of the box.
It is reported that the device will feature a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 selfie camera, while the rear will house a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide, and a 50MP Samsung JN9 periscope telephoto lens capable of 3x optical zoom with OIS.
The source has also said that the company will be continuing its collaboration with camera manufacturer Hasselblad. The device will also feature its own Lumo imaging tech for better camera optimization. The device is also reported to support dual stereo speakers, a new x-axis linear motor, and IP68/69 ratings.
