Oppo will be launching the new Oppo Find X8 series this year, and the Ultra models will be announced next year as it is the usual strategy of the company and today the Ultra variant of the smartphone series appears online with crucial piece of information related to the camera department.
The reliable tipster Digital Chat Station says that the engineering prototype of the device Oppo Find X9 Ultra will be coming with a quad-camera setup including a 200-megapixel primary camera and three 50-megapixel sensors.
It is also reported that the camera setup will include dual periscope lenses with adjustable focal lengths, and the primary periscope camera will be using a large 1/1.3-inch sensor and offers around 3x optical zoom. The company might be conducting an A/B test to compare two different periscope telephoto setups.
The device will come with the power of the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 mobile processor and the Android 16 operating system out of the box. The device will also come with multiple AI features as well.
