If we talk about the charging in smartphones, Oppo is one of such brands who provide some very fast charging technology to their smartphones. Even OnePlus’s Dash Charge is adaption of Oppo’s VOOC charge technology. Now yesterday, Oppo introduced some of their new charging technologies that even includes fast wireless charging. So let’s have a look at them.
65W SuperVOOC Fast Charge 2.0 :
As the title suggested, SuperVOOC 2.0 technology can charge a smartphone with whopping 65W power. This technology can top-up a 4000mAh battery in just 30 minutes. It can charge up to 27% in just 3 minutes (a perfect competitor to Instant Noodles). This is not the fastest by Oppo because they have already announced 120W Super Flash Charging few months back. Oppo will use Gallium Nitride semiconductors here which will keep the adaptor size small and less charging time as well. For safety there are five protection layers in the adaptor as well as cables. This charging technology will debut with Reno Ace smartphone that’s going to unveil on 10th of October.
30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 :
This is the upgrade to currently running 25W VOOC Flash Charge 3.0, and now equals to OnePlus’s 30W Warp Charge. This VOOC 4.0 is 12% faster than it’s predecessor, which means it can charge 4000mAh battery up to 67% in 30 minutes, and full charge at 73 minutes. There’s a VFC algorithm that reduces the charging time from 90% to 100%.
30W Wireless VOOC Flash Charge :
And lastly this 30W Wireless VOOC charge is the fastest wireless charging technology announced as of now. This can fully charge a 4000mAh battery under 80 minutes. For better compatibility this charging technology is based on Qi Standards, which means there shouldn’t be any use to have different charging technology for Oppo devices.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally I feel that 65W SuperVOOC charging is most exciting amongst all, but the 30W Wireless charging is most innovative amongst all. Which one are you excited for most? Let us know in the comment section below. Also stay tuned with us for more information.
