The popular Chinese smartphone brand Oppo is expected to launch the Oppo Reno 12 series globally on June 18 and the smartphone series will be including the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro, it is also said that the third device will be dubbed the Oppo Reno 12F. However, today we got a new piece of information that says the device is actually the Oppo Reno 12 FS 5G and the source has revealed the full details of the device. Going through the newly leaked images, we can see that the back panel of the device features a circular camera island and the same will be dubbed the “Cosmo Ring Design,” with a Halo Light. It will be offering eight different colors for important notifications and alerts.
The device is reported to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 600 nits brightness. The device will be featuring 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and AGC DT-Star2 protection.
It is also reported that the upcoming Oppo Reno 12 FS 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G mobile processor along with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The device is reported to feature a 50MP OmniVision OVD50D primary camera, an 8MP IMX355 ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The device will also come with a 32MP front camera. The device will be housing a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC charging. The upcoming Oppo Reno 12 FS 5G will be running on the Android 14 operating system out of the box and the device will feature an AI Eraser, AI Smart Image Matting, and AI Studio. The device will also come with AI LinkBookst and AI BeaconLink.
It is reported to come with an under-display fingerprint scanner and the Oppo Reno 12 FS 5G is said to be priced at EUR 399.99 for the sole 12/512GB variant.
