Oppo is gearing up to launch the new Oppo Reno 16 series in China, and the smartphone series will include the Oppo Reno 16 and the Oppo Reno 16 Pro models. It is confirmed that the upcoming Oppo Reno 16 series will come with a triple rear camera setup, and the devices will come with a 200 megapixel primary sensor. The upcoming smartphone series will also include a 50 megapixel Periscope telephoto camera and a 50 megapixel ultrawide sensor. The devices will be coming with a 50 megapixel front-facing camera as well.
Oppo did not reveal any other information about the upcoming devices. Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Oppo Reno 16 Pro will come with a 6.78-inch LTPO display along with the power of the Dimensity 9500s mobile processor. The device is also expected to come with a large 7,000mAh battery, and it will be available with a metal frame.
While the Oppo Reno 16 is expected to come with a 6.3-inch display, the device will have the power of the Dimensity 8000-series SoC. Both devices will be running on the latest Android 16 operating system out of the box, along with AI features.
