The popular Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has officially launched the latest Oppo Reno 16 series in China and the smartphone series includes two models: Oppo Reno 16 and Oppo Reno 16 Pro. The latest Oppo Reno 16 series comes with 200MP cameras along with up to 7,000mAh battery, and OLED displays. The devices come with the power of the MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, among others. The newly announced Oppo Reno 16 features a 6.32-inch flat OLED display with 2640×1216 pixels resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3600nits local peak brightness. While the Oppo Reno 16 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch OLED panel along with 2772×1272 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices come with 10-bit colors and high-frequency PWM dimming.
Oppo has introduced the vanilla variant of the Oppo Reno 16 series with the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 SUPER mobile processor, along with LPDDR5X or LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 6,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging. On the other hand, the latest Oppo Reno 16 Pro has the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor with LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a larger 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Both devices come with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
The latest Oppo Reno 16 series runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 out of the box. Speaking about the camera department, the newly announced Oppo Reno 16 series features a 200-megapixel (Samsung HP5) primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel (Samsung JN5) periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS. Both devices come with a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus.
