After being on the headlines for the past the couple of weeks, today the Oppo Reno 8T series is officially announced. The smartphone series includes a 5G and 4G model. The 5G model is powered by the Snapdragon processor while the 4G model is powered by a MediaTek mobile chipset. The 5G model is also featuring a 108 megapixel primary sensor on the back panel while the non 5G model is coming with a 100 megapixel sensor on the back. Both devices are coming with a 32 megapixel front facing camera. Specifications of Oppo Reno 8T 5G
The newly announced Oppo Reno 8T 5G features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ curved OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, along with 93 percent screen-to-body ratio and 360Hz touch sampling rate as well as 950 nits of peak brightness. The device is also coming with 394ppi pixel density and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The Oppo smartphone is powered by an octa-core 6nm Snapdragon 695 mobile processor along with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Speaking about the camera department, the Oppo Reno 8T 5G features a 108-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens on the back panel along with a 2-megapixel sensor with 89 degrees field of view and an f/2.4 lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/3.3 lens. The device is also coming with a 32-megapixel front facing camera with f/2.4 lens.
Regarding the connectivity options, the Oppo Reno 8T 5G supports 5G, GPS/A-GPS, USB OTG, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port. The device is also supporting a fingerprint scanner and supports face recognition for an additional layer of security.
The device is housing a 4,800mAh battery along with 67W SuperVOOC charging support and the device is running on Android 13 with ColorOS 13.0.

This is the 4G variant of the smartphone series and the Oppo Reno 8T features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with up to 90Hz refresh rate along with 409ppi pixel density and 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. It can offer 800 nits of peak brightness and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 mobile processor along with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Talking about the camera, it is also coming with a triple rear camera set up which includes a 100-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens and autofocus support along with a 2-megapixel secondary micro sensor with an f/3.3 lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The Oppo Reno 8T is also featuring a 32-megapixel front facing camera.
The Oppo Reno 8T supports 4G LTE, a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, USB OTG, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It is also coming with a fingerprint sensor as well as face recognition.

Pricing and availability
The Oppo Reno 8T 5G is having a price tag of VND 9,990,000 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and the same is available for pre-reservations in Vietnam. The company is yet to reveal the pricing of the 256 GB storage option. On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 8T is priced at VND 8,490,000 for the sole 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The device is available for purchase in Vietnam.
