A couple of weeks ago, we updated the renders and leaked pricing information of the upcoming Oppo Reno Z. Well, today the company has expanded its Reno series with the launch of the Reno Z, and we can see that it is the lite variant of the Oppo 10x zoom edition which was unveiled in last month.
Specifications of Oppo Reno Z
It features a 6.4-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with 2340 X 1080 pixels resolution along with a waterdrop notch atop. It is powered by 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, instead of the MediaTek Helio P90, as it was tipped, and the smartphone is paired with 6GB RAM. In terms of storage, the device comes with 128 GB internal storage and there is no option to expand the storage.
Moving to the photography department, the Oppo Reno Z rocks a dual-camera setup and that’s in the combination of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. Up front, the smartphone features a 32-megapixel sensor. It also supports an Optical in-display fingerprint scanner for the maximum layer of security.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, NFC, 4G VoLTE, and a USB Type-C port. The Reno Z runs on latest ColorOS 6.0 running on top of Android 9.0 Pie, and ships on 3,950 mAh non-removable battery with OPPO’s 20W VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology. Talking about the color options, the smartphone will be available in two color options: Ocean Green and Jet Black.
Pricing and availability
It is priced at EUR 190 (approx. ₹14,800) in the European market, and it will go on sale starting next month in Europe. There is no information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
Having said that, the smartphone brand will launch the Oppo Reno and Reno 10X Zoom Edition in India on May 28.
