The Chinese electronics manufacturer Oppo hosted an event earlier today in which they announced multiple products such as Oppo Enco Air and Oppo K9 5G. The company also announced all-new OPPO Smart TV K9 Series that is run by the company’s ColorOS TV 2.0. This smart TV comes in different screen sizes and all have metal frames protecting the display. But these TVs differ vastly in terms of specifications and features. Let us explore the detailed specifications of the new Oppo Smart TV K9 Series.
Specifications of Oppo Smart TV K9 Series
It is available in three sizes – 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch which are LED-backlit (DLED) LCD panels. Starting with the 43-inch model, it has Full HD resolution with 1920 x 1080 pixels along with a 60Hz refresh rate. It boasts of low blue light mode and average brightness of 230 nits.
On the other hand, the 55-inch and 65-inch models support 4K resolution with 3840 x 2160 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. It also supports 1.07 billion colours and covers 93% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. Like the smaller model both TVs support low blue light mode and has up to 300 nits of average brightness. All models sport HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG certification but the largest model supports 60Hz dynamic MEMC.
Under the hood, the 43-inch model and the 55-inch model is powered by the MediaTek MT9632 SoC which has 4 x ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores paired with ARM Mali-G52 MC1 GPU. When it comes to the 65-inch variant it is powered by the MediaTek MT9652 chipset that has 4 x ARM Cortex-A73 CPU cores paired with ARM Mali-G52 MC1 GPU. All models have 2GB of RAM. The internal storage of the small TV is 8GB and the other two has 16GB of memory.
Speaking of connectivity, it features dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0. All three come with 2GB RAM and is paired with 8GB RAM on the 43-inch version and 16GB RAM on the other two. All three runs ColorOS TV 2.0. Coming to the I/O ports it has a DTMB port, a digital audio port, 2X USB 2.0, 3x HDMI 2.0 and an Ethernet port. In addition, the 65-inch TV has an additional HDMI 2,1 port that supports eARC.
All models come with Xiaobu AI assistant and ship with Bluetooth voice and NFC-enabled remote control. The 43-inch model has 2X 10W speakers and the other two models have 2X 15W speakers. All models support Dolby Audio as well. Finally, there is a Full HD webcam which comes as an additional accessory.
Pricing and Availability
The Oppo Smart TV K9 43-inch model is priced at CNY 1,999 ($309), the 55-inch model costs CNY 2,799 ($432) and finally, the 65-inch model will retail for CNY 3,999 ($618). As part of the launch offer, buyers can avail these TVs at a discounted price of CNY 1,799 ($278), CNY 1,999 ($309), and CNY 3,299 ($510) respectively. It will go on sale from May 11.
