Oppo shows its dominance in the innovation for the fast charging technology, as the company has launched a new setup which is called Oppo 125W Flash Charge Fast Charging tech and that is capable to charge a 4,000 mAh battery in just 20 minutes and the company also supports the new setup for its existing charging Technology as well. The company has also announced some new updates for its existing charging technologies. The latest Oppo 125W Flash Charge technology is a successor of the existing SuperVOOC and VOOC and the latest technology features a series of the bi-cell design and that will charge pumps halve the voltage of the double cells during discharging to provide faster charging.
Oppo has developed custom chips to provide the faster charging solution and the chips include a VCU intelligent control chip, AC/ DC control chip, MCU charge management, chipset, BMS battery management chip, and a custom protocol chipset.
Furthermore, the faster charging experience supports 20V/ 6.25A on the USB Type-C and the USB Type-C interface of the new charger is compatible with PD and PPS protocols.
Apart from the Alongside the 125W Flash Charge technology, Oppo has unveiled the latest 65W AirVOOC wireless fast charging technology and the same is claimed to fully charge a 4,000 mAh battery in 30 minutes.
The company has announced the new setup for the existing SuperVOOC devices, and that’s a new 50W mini SuperVOOC charger. Moreover, the charger also supports Oppo’s 50W SuperVOOC standard as well as universal protocols including PD and PPS fast charging technologies and the same supports with phones based on VOOC, VOOC 3.0, and VOOC 4.0.
Finally, the very popular Chinese branded Oppo has unveiled the 110W mini flash charger and the same comes without an electrolytic capacitor and is capable of charging a 4,000 mAh battery in 20 minutes.
Unfortunately, there is no information about the availability of the new charging solutions of the Chinese smartphone brand.
