The popular Chinese smartphone brand Oppo is gearing up to launch its new Oppo Reno 7 smartphone series in the market of India on February 4 and now the company has officially confirmed the launching date of another product and the same is a Smartwatch. It is officially confirmed that the Oppo Watch Free will be official in the country on February 4 which means it will be official alongside the upcoming smartphones in the country. It features a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with a 280 x 456 pixels resolution, along with DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a 326 PPI pixel density.
It is coming with more than 100 sports modes including cricket, skipping, archery, skiing, volleyball, kayaking, and badminton and it is worth mentioning that only four sports of the device can be automatically tracked and those are running, walking, rowing (machine), and ellipticals. Moreover, the latest Oppo wearable is also coming with a built-in trainer for running.
The newly announced Oppo Watch Free is also coming with the popular health related features and the device will offer the five heart rate zones in real-time. The device is also capable to provide features like sleep tracking, snoring detection, music playback control, and support for WeChat and Alipay contactless payment.
It is also coming with NFC variant and the same will enable you to keep bus cards and bank cards. The device also supports OPPO’s Breeno voice assistant with support for an offline mode as well.
The Oppo Watch Free is also coming with a unique feature called the eSports mode and this particular feature will deliver all notifications and alerts on the watch instead of on phone and the feature currently supports the OPPO Find X3 series and Reno6 series. Having said that, the Chinese brand has confirmed that the feature will be available on most smartphones in the near future. The device is also coming with a sleep mode and the same will turn-on Do Not Disturb mode on your phone.
Speaking about the battery life, the latest Oppo Watch Free has a 230mAh battery and the company claims that the device will provide up to 14 days of battery life. The device can be paired with your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0 and it is compatible with Android devices running Android 6.0 and later as well as devices running iOS 10.0 and later.
