In order to give full-screen experience, smartphone brands started to implement the notch, followed by the pop-up camera, and now the punch-hole setup is the latest trend in the smartphone industry. Having said that, both the notch and the punch-hole design creates obstruction and that’s not a perfect setup to offer the full-screen experience. However, this situation is going to change, as the Chinese smartphone brand Oppo is working on a smartphone which is the real in-display front camera set up.
Oppo VP Brian Shen shared a video of a working prototype device with a selfie camera which is under the screen. And the Oppo’s official Twitter account offers a better look at the device and give us an idea of how the camera will work and from where it will give the service to the user.

In the video, we can see that the Camera sensor is placed in the upper middle part of the screen and it flashes for a second. The video also shows that the user is taking some camera shots and there is no hole which means the camera is placed under the display and it is the real in-display front camera smartphone.
We don’t have any information about the name of the smartphone or when it will be launched. But we are super excited to see the device in reality and we expect to hear more about the same in the coming days, we recommend you to stay tuned with us for the latest updates.
