Perplexity is a very popular name in the world of Artificial Intelligence and the company has today introduced a new browser with the power of Artificial Intelligence and it is called Comet.
The company has introduced the new Comet browser with a subscription format and users need to subscribe Perplexity’s Max plan, which is priced at 200 US dollars per month. A small group of invitees who joined the waitlist will also get early access and the company will release the browser for everyone in the coming months.
It comes with features including the Perplexity AI search engine, along with AI-generated summaries of search results that will enable you to get direct answers without needing to jump between websites. The browser also comes with the Comet Assistant which is a new AI agent that lives inside the browser.
The company says that it can summarise emails and calendar events, manage tabs, and navigate web pages on behalf of users. You can be able to access the assistant through a side panel on any web page.
