Since the official rollout of the first developer preview of the brand new Android 11 operating system, we are getting new features and hidden details of the upcoming version of the Android operating system. Well, today yet another information came out and that is all about a new application by Google and it is meant for the personal security of a user. So, without wasting any time let’s dive into the article to check out the complete details.
Everything about Personal Security App By Google
The upcoming Android operating system – Android 11 has an application called the Personal Security App which is developed by the developers of the Mountain View company Google, and that is exclusively for the new Pixel 4 smartphone. However, the guys at XDA Developers successfully sideloaded the application and tested it on the previous generations of Pixel lineup and they tested it on the Pixel 2 XL as well as the Pixel 3 XL, and both the devices supported the application without any problem.
It is worth to mention that this feature appeared in Android 10 last year and it also appeared on Google Play Store once but Google removed it and not included it in the final version of Android 10. Well, that’s maybe the app was not in the perfect shape and now the developers have solved the complete problem and made an amazing application for the users of the world.
As the name suggests, the application is there to help users as well as for the security and it also helps users to let their near and dear ones to know that they are safe and there is no problem if an unwanted incident happened.
Moreover, the application has a feature called car crash detection and that is one of the most highlighting features of this particular application. The feature uses location of the phone along with the accelerometer and microphone to try and detect when you meet with an accident and if the application is not able to detect the same, then the phone will make a loud noise and ask if there is any requirement of help, and if the phone will not get any response then it will automatically call to the emergency number and also share the location.
But the XDA Developers found that this feature is limited to the United States at least for now but we believe that the company will test the same and if everything goes to the right side then it will bring the final version of Android 11 and the feature will also expand the service to the major parts of the world.
