The most anticipated upcoming smartphone to launch is Google’s Pixel 6 series. Google has partially announced both the smartphones on their website. And seems like Google is finally prepared to be in true flagship smartphone market alongside Apple and Samsung. But for this the brand needs to fix some important elements which the previous Pixel phones used to lack. Seems like one of them is charging. And we also have an update over the Pixel 6 Foldable smartphone.
Pixel 6 Series Fast Charger:
According to the latest report by 91Mobiles, both Pixel 6 series smartphones will have support for up to 33W fast charging. There are bunch of new fast chargers in Google’s Head Quarter at Mountain View, California. But they are for testing purpose only as of now, so report claims that Google took them back from the tester employees. And this 33W charger might be sold separately, so users need to pay more for fast charging their new Pixel smartphone. This sounds very familiar to other flagship market rulers whom I mentioned above.
Pixel 6 Foldable:
Finally, the report also says that the Foldable Pixel 6 smartphone is delayed and we won’t see it at the Pixel 6 series launch. But maybe it can be teased at the upcoming event. It’s actually good that Google is not in a hurry and taking its time to make the fold smartphone as seamless as possible. Also, the Pixel 6 series is already going to be a show buzz at the event, that’s why the first Foldable Pixel smartphone deserves a separate event.
And that sums up our today’s leak on upcoming Pixel 6 series and its foldable variant. It’s good that at least there’s support for fast charging the new devices. Hope that it will be Power Delivery supported to the fullest speed, that will be good for those who already have PD fast chargers.
