Poco has officially introduced its new budget smartphone called the POCO C85x in the markets of India. The device comes with 5G connectivity along with HyperOS and a 120Hz refresh rate. The latest POCO C85x 5G comes with a 6.9-inch HD+ display with 1600 × 720 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The device also features a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 660 nits typical brightness, with peak brightness going up to 810 nits in High Brightness Mode. The device also features DC dimming and carries TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light along with Flicker Free certifications.
It has the power of the octa-core Unisoc T8300 mobile processor along with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 4GB additional RAM expansion. The device also comes with 64GB and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage that can expand storage up to 1TB using a microSD card.
POCO has also introduced the POCO C85x 5G with the latest Android 16 along with a layer of HyperOS on top. The device features a 32MP rear primary camera along with a secondary sensor and an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
The newly announced POCO C85x 5G houses a 6300mAh battery with support for 15W charging. The device also supports 7.5W reverse wired charging. The device supports 5G SA and NSA support across n1, n3, n5, n8, n28, n40, and n78 bands along with dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac with 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS with GLONASS, and a USB Type C port for connectivity. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an FM radio. The phone comes with an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest POCO C85x 5G comes in Black, Gold, and Green colour options. The 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs. 10,999, while the 4GB + 128GB version costs Rs. 11,999. It will be available from March 14th through Flipkart in the country.
