It is revealed that Poco is going to launch a new smartphone called the Poco F3 and the smartphone also bagged certification from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. It is worth to mention that the upcoming Poco F3 is actually the rebranded version of the Redmi K40 smartphone which was introduced in the market of China last month.
The model number which spotted at FCC, the M2012K11AG is also spotted on different certification agencies and that includes Indonesia Telecom, Indonesia’s TKDN, Singapore’s IMDA, Europe’s EEC, and TUV Rheinland.

Specifications of Redmi K40
It features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ E4 AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution along with 1,300 nits of peak brightness, and the same also features a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display also comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a punch-hole at centre of the screen and the company claims to be the smallest in the world.
The smartphone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, along with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. In terms of storage, the device is coming with up to 256 GB of internal storage.
Speaking about the camera department, the Redmi K40 features a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 primary sensor, along with an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor with a macro lens. You will also get a 20-megapixel camera sensor at the front. The smartphone is also coming with an in-display fingerprint scanner along with the traditional security options. It is also coming with the stereo speakers as well as IP53 rating.
Regarding the connectivity options. The latest smartphone of the company comes with 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port. It is also coming with a 4,520mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The phone runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top.
