Poco has officially introduced the new Poco F8 Ultra smartphone in the global markets. The device comes with a unique new denim inspired look and Bose Sound. a premium sound system. The device has the power of the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile processor and it is worth mentioning that the device is basically a rebranded Redmi K90 Pro Max which was already announced in China. The device comes with the dedicated rear facing speaker with “Sound by Bose” along with the new Denim look, which has a textured back. The device also features an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
It has a 6.9-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 3500 nits of peak brightness. The device can offer as low as 1 nit in brightness levels.
The latest POCO F8 Ultra has the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The device also comes with a huge 6,500mAh battery along with 100W wired fast charging. The company has downgraded the battery from the Redmi K90 Pro Max’s larger 7,560mAh cell, 50W wireless charging support, and 22.5W reverse wireless charging functionality.
It also comes with NFC support, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 7, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device comes with the Bose tuned 2.1 stereo setup that includes bottom and top firing speakers along with the large independent bass unit on the back. The device runs on the latest Android 16 with HyperOS 3 custom skin out of the box.
The device features a 50MP Light Fusion 950 main camera with OIS and a 1/1.31-inch sensor size along with a 50MP periscope telephoto shooter with 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra wide angle lens. The device also features a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the device has starting price of 729 US Dollars. In the UK, the device is priced at 549 and 599 Pounds Sterling, respectively. The device will be available from December 10.
