Poco has finally revealed the launch date of the new Poco F9 Pro and the Poco F9 Ultra and the devices are expected to be the tweaked versions of the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max. So let’s get into the article to check out the newly revealed information.
It is officially announced that both devices will be officially launched on September 1 globally. The upcoming Poco F9 Pro is expected to come with a 6.59-inch Plastic OLED display with QHD resolution and up to a 185Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Poco F9 Ultra will come with a 6.85-inch display with 2608 x 1200 pixels resolution. Both displays are reported to be developed with TCL CSOT, with Xiaomi contributing to the panel design and materials.
The devices are expected to come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile processor along with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The upcoming Poco F9 Pro is tipped to come with a 6,330mAh battery, while the Poco F9 Ultra could come with a large 8,050mAh battery. Both devices will be coming with 100W wired charging and USB Power Delivery.
Speaking about the camera department, the upcoming Poco F9 Pro may feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel 3x telephoto camera with OIS. While the Poco F9 Ultra is expected to come with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel 5x telephoto camera, alongside the same primary sensor. Both devices are expected to come with 32-megapixel selfie cameras and support 8K video recording at 30fps.
The devices are expected to feature Bose-tuned rear speakers, IP69 certification, and metal frames. The upcoming Poco F9 Ultra is expected to come with an LED notification ring around the rear camera module.
It is also reported that the starting price of the Poco F9 Pro will be 799 euros for the 12GB+256GB version, while the F9 Ultra could start at 999 euros for the 16GB+512GB configuration. Both devices are expected to be available in black, white, green, and red colour options.
