After teasing for the past few days, POCO has officially introduced the POCO M4 Pro 5G smartphone in the market of India and the device is actually a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11, and Poco introduced the device in China last year. It is coming with the power of the MediaTek processor along with a 50 megapixel primary sensor on the back. The device is running on Android 11 out of the box and it is having a big battery. Specifications of POCO M4 Pro 5G
The latest POCO M4 Pro 5G features a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and it offers a punch-hole set up on the top of the screen. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset along with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for the graphical task. The device is coming with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest POCO M4 Pro 5G features a dual rear camera setup and that is in the combination of a 50MP primary camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. It is worth mentioning that the device is the first POCO smartphone with a 50-megapixel camera sensor on the back and the device featuring a large camera module on the back along with the POCO branding. On the front, the device features a 16MP front-facing camera.
The device is having a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and it runs on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 custom skin out of the box. Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It is also coming with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for the additional layer of security.
Pricing and availability
The 4GB + 64GB variant is having a price tag of ₹14,999 while the 6GB + 128GB storage option is coming with a pricing of ₹16,999 and 8GB + 128GB storage model is priced at ₹18,999. The device will be available from February 22 via Flipkart.
