Poco has officially launched the latest POCO M8 Power smartphone in the markets of India with Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 mobile processor along with a large 8000mAh battery and a 50 megapixel primary sensor. The latest POCO M8 Power comes with a 6.9″ AMOLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch-response rate. The device also features an in-display fingerprint sensor and the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
It has the power of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset along with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2-based internal storage. The device also supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM expansion as well. The device comes with a 10,416mm² graphite cooling area and it is said that the device can offer a lag-free user experience for up to 48 months.
Speaking about the camera department, the POCO M8 Power features a 50MP AI dual-camera system at the rear which is the Light Fusion 400 main camera sensor. The device also comes with an 8MP front-facing camera. The camera features of the device include AI Scene Detection, Auto Night Mode, AI Eraser, AI Sky, AI Bokeh Portraits, depth sensing, and AI HDR optimisation.
The device houses a massive 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 45W wired fast charging end the device also supports up to 22.5W wired reverse charging. The POCO M8 Power 5G runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 based on the Android 16 operating system and the device is promised to receive four generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. The device also comes with Google Gemini and Circle to Search.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the new POCO M8 Power with 6GB/128GB is priced at Rs 24,999, whereas the 8GB/128GB variant has a price tag of Rs 27,999. The company is offering the devices with a discounted price during the first 12 hours of its sale. The company is also offering up to nine months of No Cost EMI on the smartphone. It will be available from August 7 through Flipkart. The device will be available in Green, Blaze Orange, and Black colour options.
