The popular Chinese smartphone brand POCO has launched the POCO X4 Pro 5G in the market of India and the same was originally announced during the recently concluded MWC 2022. The device is actually a tweaked Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and the company has introduced the smartphone in India with a different camera setup on the back. It was originally announced with a 108 megapixel camera sensor but the company has launched the device in India with a 64 megapixel primary sensor. The device is also missing NFC in India as well. Specifications of POCO X4 Pro 5G
The POCO X4 Pro 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen and it is also coming with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. The display of the device is also coming with a 120Hz refresh rate along with 395 PPI, DCI-P3 color gamut, 4,500,000:1 contrast ratio, and 1,200 nits peak brightness level.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 mobile processor along with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128 GB UFS 2.2 storage that can be expandable using a micro SD card.
Speaking about the camera department, the POCO X4 Pro 5G features a 64MP main camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide unit and a 2MP macro sensor. It is also featuring a 16MP front facing camera.
Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports dual-SIM card slots, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster, and a USB Type-C port. It is also featuring dual stereo speakers. The device also supports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for the additional layer of security.
It is running on MIUI 13 for POCO based on Android 11. It also features a z-axis linear vibration motor along with Hi-Res Audio certification, it is also coming with liquid cooling technology, and an IP53 rating for splash resistance. POCO X4 Pro 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
Pricing and availability
The 6GB + 64GB option is coming with a price tag of ₹18,999 while the 6GB + 128GB storage variant is having a price tag of ₹19,999 and 8GB + 128GB storage option is priced at ₹21,999. The device will be available from April 5 via Flipkart.
