The Chinese smartphone brand Poco is expected to introduce the new Poco X8 in the near future and today we got a new piece of information that says the device has received multiple certificates and this suggests the launch is around the corner. It is spotted that the upcoming Poco X8 smartphone goes through Thailand’s NBTC and Singapore’s IMDA certification platforms with model number 2607DPC18G. It is worth mentioning that the NBTC listing confirms the name of the device as the Poco X8.
Having set that, the IMDA listing has also revealed that the device will be supporting connectivity features including NFC, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Poco X8 could be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G. In that case, the upcoming Poco X8 5G may feature a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and up to 3200 nits of peak brightness. The device will be coming with a large 9,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
It will come with the power of the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 mobile processor along with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The device could feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The device will be coming with features like an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, and an IP66/68/69/69K-rated body.
