Poco will be launching its new Poco X8 series in India on September 4 and the smartphone series will include the Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power models. The upcoming Poco X8 has confirmed to come with the power of the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 mobile processor and it is said that the device has achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 910,000 points. The device will come with up to 16GB of RAM through 8GB of physical RAM and an additional 8GB of extended RAM. The device will run on Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0 out of the box. It is also promised to receive four years of Android operating system updates and six years of security patch updates.
Poco will be launching the device with multiple AI features including Circle to Search and come with the Google Gemini assistant built in. The device will also come with Xiaomi Interconnectivity and Xiaomi Offline Communication. The device will also come with optical image stabilisation for the back camera. The device is also confirmed to come with a 16MP selfie camera. It will also come with features like AI Image Enhancement along with AI Image Expansion and AI Eraser. The device will also support AI Sky Replacement.

Coming to the POCO X8 Power 5G, the smartphone is confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor and it will be the first device in India to come with the processor. The device will also come with up to 16GB of RAM through 8GB of physical RAM and 8GB of extended RAM.
It will be running on Android 16 with HyperOS 3.0 out of the box. The device will be receiving four years of Android operating system updates and six years of security patch updates. The device will also support Circle to Search and feature the Google Gemini assistant. The device will also come with the HyperAI suite that will include AI Writing for improving productivity and AI Interpreter for translating conversations during calls and meetings. It will also come with Xiaomi Interconnectivity, Universal Search, and Xiaomi Offline Communication.
Poco has confirmed to launch the new device with a 50MP primary camera with a large f/1.5 aperture and optical image stabilisation along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and it will also come with a 32MP selfie camera. It will also support 4K Night Video recording. The camera department supports features including AI Image Enhancement for improving image clarity, AI Image Expansion for extending pictures based on their context, AI Sky Replacement, and AI Eraser.
