The popular chipset manufacturer Qualcomm has unveiled Qualcomm 205 Mobile Platform, the company has unveiled it at an event today in New Delhi. The new Qualcomm 205 Mobile Platform is made to make 4G VoLTE connectivity in Feature Phones.
Since the Jio launched, the consumption of the 4G internet has increased a lot. And we also heard that Reliance is also working to launch 4G feature phones, which will give 4G connectivity to more users because the cost of the feature phone will be low and it will give great growth in developing markets.
And now with the Qualcomm 205 Mobile Platform, OEMs will able to make 4G supported devices with very cheap rate. The Qualcomm’s new chipset will not only support VoLTE, but it will also able to give VoWi-Fi (voice over Wi-Fi) technology.
The company has joined its hands with smartphone manufacturers like Borqs, CKT, FIH/ Megafone, Flex, HiPad, Hulye, LYF, Micromax, TCL, TCM, Uniscope, Viroyal.
