The popular mobile chipset maker Qualcomm has officially announced that it has acquired Augentix. With the latest move, Qualcomm is planning to enhance the strength of smart surveillance ecosystem.
The latest acquisition will help Qualcomm to widen its smart camera portfolio with solutions ranging from low-power imaging systems to high-performance setup. Qualcomm is also preparing to support large-scale deployments that require uniform software behaviour, reduced development complexity, and stronger real-time intelligence.
Talking about Augentix, it was founded in 2014 and the same as popular for its work in high-resolution, low-power video systems across consumer, enterprise and embedded camera markets.
