The popular chipset maker Qualcomm is gearing up to launch its new flagship mobile processor called the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the same is already confirmed to be announced next month which means October. Today we got a new piece of information about the upcoming mobile processor and the same says that the upcoming chipset will come in 2 variants, one variant manufactured under TSMC’s 4nm process and another variant manufactured under TSMC’s 3nm process.
It is reported that the source got an access to the leaked email conversations between Qualcomm and its smartphone partners such as Samsung. The newly leaked documents suggested that Qualcomm will be launching the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with ARM’s latest Cortex X4, Cortex A720, and Cortex A520 CPU cores for its chipset CPU structure.
The report also said that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (SM8650) SoC will be available in two variants, one is manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm N4P node process while the other variant will be manufactured on TSMC’s 3nm N3E node process.
