Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is the current latest and greatest mobile processor and the same powers the new flagship smartphones as well. The chipset is really powerful and power efficient. This year the chipset maker will be launching the successor of the mobile processor called the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 which is expected to be announced in the month of November this year.
The upcoming chipset is believed to be improved and the same will have unique architecture as well. However, today we got a new piece of information that is revealing information about next year’s flagship mobile processor of Qualcomm which will be called Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and it is said to offer 40% faster performance than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
According to the latest information, the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 mobile processor is codenamed SM8750 and the same will be one of the first mobile processors with Qualcomm’s new Nuvia cores.
It is said that the new cores will be present in a 2+6 (2x Phoenix I plus 6x Phoenix M) configuration. The report is also saying that the upcoming chipset has scored 2,070 points in single-core and 9,100 points in the multi-core test of Geekbench 5.
