UDGAM is the name of the newly introduced web portal and the same is available for both Savings/Current bank account holders and we know that the accounts will be inactive if it is not used in 10 years. Even FDs and RDs become inactive if they are not claimed within 10 years of maturity.

At that situation, the newly introduced UDGAM portal comes handy and you will able to search for unclaimed deposits across various banks. Currently, SBI, Punjab National Bank, Central Bank of India, Dhanalaxmi Bank Ltd, South Indian Bank Ltd. And DBS Bank India Ltd is available on the website for individuals. For non-individuals, the link also includes Citibank.
You will have to go to the website of UDGAM (https://udgam.rbi.org.in/unclaimed-deposits/#/register) and then you needed to register/log in. After that, you need to enter any one search criteria and select the relevant banks.
