After launching the Realme 16 Pro series, the Chinese company is now believed to introduce the vanilla variant called the Realme 16. The Vietnamese wing of Realme has officially started to tease the upcoming Realme 16.
We can see the device with a horizontal camera bar on the back similar to the Google Pixel phones but the upcoming device is also integrated with a dedicated selfie mirror next to the rear cameras. Having said that, the device is also prematurely listed on a Vietnamese retailer’s website with full specifications. So let’s get into the article to check out the details.
The upcoming Realme 16 smartphone is listed with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display along with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be offering up to 4,500nits of peak brightness along with AGC DT-Star D+ shield glass for protection and the display will be integrated with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
Speaking about the camera department, the upcoming Realme 16 features a 50-megapixel front camera while the back of the phone has a dual-camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 2-megapixel secondary lens. It is listed with the latest Android 16 out of the box and the phone will come with the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset.
The upcoming device will be available with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM along with 256GB of internal storage. And the storage can be expanded via a microSD card slot. It will be housing a large 7,000mAh battery with 60W fast charging.
In terms of connectivity, the Realme 16 is said to support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, an IR blaster, and a USB-C port. The device is also listed with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
The listing says that the device will be available in Air Black and Air White colour options and it will be available from February 2.
